We measure your cuff pressure.
For building strength without heavy loads: a calibrated cuff lets light exercise create the stimulus a heavy load normally would.
What It Is
Blood flow restriction uses a calibrated cuff to limit blood flow to a limb while you exercise. That lets a light load create the strength stimulus a heavy load normally would.
It matters most when a joint cannot tolerate real weight yet, which is exactly when people lose the most muscle.
The cuff pressure is measured for you, not guessed, and we monitor you throughout.
Always optional, never sprung on you
What It Helps
If a muscle feels locked no matter what you do, there’s a good chance a trigger point is the reason.
What A Session Looks Like

You train at a light load.

We progress as the joint allows.
Why It Works
Strength gains at light loads.
Protects a healing joint.
Cuts early post-op muscle loss.
Fits the plan you are already on.

Questions, Answered
The limb feels tight and the muscle fatigues quickly, which is the point. It is not painful and the sensation goes as soon as the cuff comes off.
With measured pressure and screening, yes. We screen for the conditions where it is not appropriate and we will tell you if you are not a candidate.
It depends on your plan: blood flow restriction is coded differently than a standard PT visit, and insurers don’t all treat it the same way. We verify your exact benefits before your first session, so there’s no surprise on your bill. Questions before then? Call us at (702) 876-9737.
